Springtij Forum 2018

At the annual Springtij Forum (late September 2018) on the beautiful island of Terschelling I was asked again to serve as ‘Navigator’ and organize several sessions on sustainable development related to Water and Seas.

One of the sessions was on plastic marine litter, where we had an impressive panel with Charles Moore, the captain who discovered the plastic soup in the Pacific Gyre. Also present was Stientje van Veldhoven, State Secretary of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water, Merijn Tinga AKA The Plastic Soup Surfer and a range of business representatives and researchers.
