Pop-up shipbreaking yard

Shipbreaking yard, Jiangyin China

At the SAIL Amsterdam event I set up a pop-up Shipbreaking yard, in cooperation with CSR Netherlands and Streetcornerwork. Visitors of the festival received information on the ship breaking practices in Asia and were invited to help break up small scrap boats and get a hint of what the shipbreakers in Bangladesh and India have to endure.
