Ranking the Ships

Improving the sustainable performance of shipping has received a boost since the introduction of environmental indexing. At present, several indexing schemes are in operation, such as Green Award and Clean Shipping Index. Spring 2016 I conducted a research project with Mark Spetter of Globalance, on the various schemes and a survey on the viability of an overarching scheme.
