In November 2019 I was in Sisimiut (West Greenland) to investigate the types and sources of marine litter. For 1 week a great team of researchers, local and national Greenland government officials, fisheries experts, teachers and a waste manager went through almost 1000kg of litter that washed up on the coast. This activity is part of a multiyear research project of marine litter in the Arctic.
